Inspector's Report
On 14th November, the Council received the Inspector’s final
report on the Bassetlaw Core Strategy & Development Management
Policies DPD. The report finds the DPD, with the Council’s proposed
changes to it, to be ‘sound’.
Submission of the Bassetlaw Core Strategy and Development
Management Policies DPD
Bassetlaw District Council formally submitted the Core Strategy
and Development Management Policies DPD to the Planning
Inspectorate on Monday 31 January 2011. The Secretary of State
appointed Chris Anstey BA (Hons) DIPTP DIPLA MRTPI as the
independent Inspector to conduct the Examination.
Following scrutiny during public hearing sessions which took
place between Tuesday 17 and Thursday 26 May 2011, the Council
consulted on post-hearing changes, recommended by the Inspector,
and on possible implications of the Draft National Planning Policy
Framework on the DPD.
The Council expects to receive the Inspector’s Report on the
Examination on Friday 4 November. The information contained on
these web pages will therefore be updated in due course.
In line with the relevant planning Regulations, the Submission
