The Bassetlaw Retail Need Assessment updates for the Bassetlaw Retail Study (May 2009)

It is important for the Council to keep its retail evidence base up-to-date in terms of the assessment of future shopping needs. The Retail Need Assessment therefore provides a comprehensive review and update of retail needs in Bassetlaw, based on the catchment areas of Worksop and Retford. It reviews existing shopping provision in Worksop and Retford, outlines the approach to retail need assessment and updates the forecasts of population and retail expenditure in the Retail Study.
