Let’s roar for Retford
Black leathers, crash helmets and the roar of powerful engines
will be the order of the day on Saturday 21st June
as Retford town centre plays host to a motorcycle day.
And with the event coinciding with Farmers’ Market Day, the
organisers of the event, Bassetlaw District Council expect the town
centre to be bustling with people.
The day begins at 10am, with Councillor Wendy
Quigley (in her role as Mayor of Retford) getting things going.
“We recently held a similar event in Worksop and it went down
very well,” said the Councillor Quigley.
“It will be a bit different to see all of those motorcycles in
the Market Square and should be an interesting and exciting
event.”
