Bowling is a challenging and competitive sport requiring a lot of skill and provides good exercise for the muscles and joints along with social benefits. As part of our Bowls 4 U campaign and £50K of refurbishment on and around the greens, we offer free coaching sessions to assist people of all ages to a basic standard of bowls.

Description:

Worksop Bowling Club has both a crown and flat green which are kept in an excellent condition. During winter months members also play competitively. Flat green bowling is available to non members on Friday mornings during the summer. Our clubhouse has a lounge bar and two match standard snooker tables.

Description:

We provide excellent facilities for all standards from beginners upwards. The Club promotes comradeship and a place to belong for many elderly people who are often suffering from bereavement, isolation, who are often feeling vulnerable. As a bowling club we promote opportunities from beginners, by having qualified coaches through to championship winners. We are looking to get many members of the public join us as we continue to improve both our sporting and social amenities in our sporting community.
