CNHW Neighbourhood Plan
Following a successful Public Referndum held on the 09 March 2017 the CNHW Neighbourhood Plan has been 'made' by Bassetlaw District Council.
Adoption of CNHW Neighbourhood Plan
Following the successful result of the Public Referendum held on the 09 March 2017 on the CNHW Neighbourhood Plan, Bassetlaw District Council has ‘made’ the Plan and it will now be used to assess planning applications submitted within the Parishes.
Following the successful exmaintion of the Neighbourhood Plan a Public Referendum has been arranged in Cuckney, Norton, Holbeck & Welbeck to take place on the 09 March 2017. The Neighbourhood Plan will need to receive a majoirty 'Yes' vote from those voting at the referendum to be 'made' by Bassetlaw District Council.
Submission Neighbourhood Plan
In accordance with Section 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, Bassetlaw District Council hereby invites feedback from organisations and individuals on the CNHW Neighbourhood Development Plan. The consultation period will last for six weeks and will run until 5pm on the 23 August 2016.
A draft version of the document underwent consultation for 6 weeks ending on the 27 July 2015. Comments made to the Parish Council from that consultation helped inform changes to the document submitted to Bassetlaw District Council. The Neighbourhood Development Plan, written by Cuckney and Norton & Holbeck and Welbeck Parish Council's and the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group proposes a number of policies on housing provision, employment, the environment and community facilities.

It is the responsibility of the District Council to collate all the representations made and pass these on to the independent examiner, who will examine the plan documents and assess whether the plan is in line with legislation and can therefore proceed to a public referendum. An examiner will be appointed to undertake the examination in the forthcoming weeks.

Draft Neighbourhood Plan
The Cuckney, Norton, Holbeck & Welbeck Neighbourhood Planning Steering Group has now completed the Draft Neighbourhood Development Plan for the area.
Consultation on the Draft Neighbourhood Plan for Cuckney, Norton, Holbeck & Welbeck Parishes ran from the 15 June until 5pm on the 27 July 2015.

The approval of the Neighbourhood Area Designation, for the Cuckney, Norton, Holbeck & Welbeck Neighbourhood Plan, was made on the 17th March 2014. No comments or objections were received to carry out the plan, therefore, the Neighbourhood Plan may now commence.

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made by Cuckney Parish Council to Bassetlaw District Council to be recognised as a Neighbourhood Area for the purpose of producing a Neighbourhood Plan.
Notice is also given that the Cuckney Parish Council proposes to be the lead authority for the production of the Neighbourhood Plan for the Area proposed above. Contact details are as follows:
