Unwanted electrical items can be disposed of at the Retford or Worksop Household Waste Recycling Centre.
Electrical items must not be placed in wheeled bins.
Check with the manufacturer / supplier to see if they will accept the empty cartridges back.
Otherwise they can be sent of for recycling in a freepost envelope available free of charge from some retail shops and supermarkets.

Old car tyres are classed as hazardous waste and cannot be taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centres. Tyres cannot be sent to landfill either.
To dispose of tyres take them to a garage (most garages will dispose of your tyres for you when fitting replacements)
