Future changes to Council Tax empty property exemptions and
second home discounts
Changes have been made to discounts for empty properties from
1st April 2013. These effect short and long term empty properties
as well as uninhabitable properties and second homes which are
furnished.
If you currently own an empty property or are buying or renting
one, this affects you.
