There are various ways in which you can pay your Business
Rates.
Direct Debit
If you have not yet opted for Direct Debit, you
can do so by downloading the latest Direct Debit
Instruction.
Alternatively, you can contact the Business Rates Team who will
be happy to post one out, you can contact them by telephone on
01909 533460 or by e-mail customer.services@bassetlaw.gov.uk.
For Business Rates you can choose from four different payment
dates, you can pay over ten months from April 2013.
Choose from 1st, 7th, 15th and 25th
By BACS
Please quote your rate reference on your remittance advice for
each payment. Please pay to:
Co-operative Bank, Co-operative House, Queen Street, Mansfield,
Notts. NG18 1HN.

Our sort code: 08-90-44
Where possible please quote your Business Rates reference number
(found on the front of your bill) as your payment reference.
Internet
Pay by Debit Card through
Capita. Follow the on screen instructions.
Payment by Telephone
You can pay your Business Rates instalments by telephone, we
have a dedicated payment line, call us on 01777 713864.
Alternatively, you can still contact the Business Rates Office on
01909 533460.
Payments in Person
Please note: we do not take cash in our Council One Stop
Shops.
The cashiers service in our One Stop Shops accept most types of
credit card (Not American Express) and we accept debit cards.
This service covers Council Tax and Business Rates payments.

Bill/Invoice with you to one of our offices:

2AH, or One Stop Shop, 17b The Square, Retford, DN22 6DB.
Open Monday to Thursday 8:40 am to 4:45 pm, Friday 8:40 am to
4:15 pm.
Payments by Post
For security reasons, please send only cheques and postal orders
through the post. Send your payment to the Worksop or Retford
office. If you require a receipt, you must either enclose
your Council Tax, Business Rates or Sundry Debts Bill/invoice.

Payments at the Post Office
All Business Rates payers can pay at their local Post
Office (free of charge). Your bill has a barcode on it that
can be scanned at your local Post Office.
This scheme helps customers who don't live in the parts of
Bassetlaw which have Cashier Halls to take payments.
Any cheques paid to a post office should be made out to "Post
Office Ltd".
Payments at a Pay Point
Your Business Rates bill has a bar code on it that can
be used to scan and pay at any pay point facility.
