Community Safety is concerned with working at a local level in a multi-agency way to tackle issues, which affect people’s quality of life within Bassetlaw District.

Bassetlaw, Newark and Sherwood Community Safety Partnership is concerned primarily with reducing crime, disorder and anti-social behaviour and consists of more than 20 partnership agencies from across the District and County.

The multi-agency approach allows the tackling of crime on both a pro-active and reactive level, ensuring the root causes of crime are addressed.
