Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw is a local charity which
supports young people, aged 8 - 25 years, living in the Bassetlaw
District, in their many and varied ventures. The charity offers
grants to young people and their organisations, arranges events for
young people, offers advice and information.
What we do
We help young people to recognise and value their worth. We help
young people develop their interpersonal and group skills within a
structured environment whilst having fun.
FoYPiB works in several ways:
As a grant giving trust which assists young people and their
organisations in their many and varied ventures with financial
assistance. At least 1200 young people each year receive
support.
As an organiser of events which help to raise the confidence and
self esteem of young people, with informal learning and development
opportunities.
