The Bassetlaw Sports Awards are delighted to have Crystal
Lane, Para cyclist for the Great Britain Cycling Team as guest of
honour at the 2011 event. The audience will get the chance to
listen to Crystal’s journey via her inspirational speech and she
will present each category award winner with their trophy.
Crystal, who lives in the Retford area, recently competed in the
2011 UCI Para-Cycling Road World Championships and through a
valiant effort at the end of the race she won a sprint against an
American and a German to finish in third place and gain a Bronze
Medal,.
There are only 5 weeks left for the nomination process, so if

anyone who should be nominated, don’t wait, nominate! It
