Energyshare is essentially the replacement for Green Streets 2 and aims to fundamentally change the way people source, use and generate their energy.

To help make it a success Energyshare want to support as many community energy projects as possible. They're making up to £500,000 of initial funding available for community projects that will really make a difference to the way that we use energy.

Energyshare team are searching for projects at any stage of their journey - from people just starting out, to entire communities that are ready to generate their own energy. To qualify, projects must:

• Aim to save energy and/or generate renewable energy.
• Demonstrate strong community support.
• Create a tangible and lasting impact on the community.
• Be an inspiration for future projects to come.
