International Frog Racing Event For Chairman’s Charities

A refreshingly different way of raising funds for charity, billed as international frog racing comes to Harworth and Bircotes Town Hall on Friday 15th July. Doors open at 6:30pm and first race is at 7:30pm.

Bassetlaw District Council Chairman, Dave Challinor, who is hosting the event says, “The event promises to be loads of fun and all the proceeds will go to Bassetlaw Hospice, Sheffield Children’s Hospital and Aurora. There are only 110 tickets available and the price includes mince and onion or vegetarian pie and pea supper. There will be a trophy for the winner and there’ll also be a raffle on the night.

“If are coming, please ensure you buy your tickets by Thursday 14th July so we have the final number for catering purposes.”

Adult tickets cost £12.00 and those for under 18s £6.00. Tickets are available from Civic Services 01909 533 117.
