Bassetlaw District Council invites residents to the Retford Town Hall Ballroom on Thursday 10 March from 10a.m. to 3p.m. to take a look at the range of services provided by the Council.

According to the Council’s Complaints and Consultation Officer, Sarah Carter, “There will be an opportunity to win some great prizes including a meal for two at the West Retford Hotel, a spa day for two at the Clumber Park Hotel and a £50 High Street Voucher, plus a chance to bag a free Leisure Centre pass for 12 months.

“Council staff will be on hand to answer any queries you may have or to just have a friendly chat. There will also be a chance to find out about local developments in your area and to let us know your views.

“Don’t forget it’s also market day, so come along for a browse around the many stalls and then pop in and see us.

“Free tea, coffee and Fairtrade cakes will be provided in recognition of Fairtrade fortnight. Seating will be available. Everyone is welcome – dancing shoes optional!”
