International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. In some places like China, Russia, Vietnam and Bulgaria, International Women's Day is a national holiday.

Nottinghamshire Women's Aid - The Farr Centre will be hosting an event on the 8th of March to celebrate International Women's Day. During the day there will be many activities taking place such as

• Foods From Around The World
• Pre School Craft Activity

Everything is free and all women are welcome.
