When choosing your accommodation in
Nottinghamshire, quality assurance ratings give you an indication
of what you can expect to find. Look out for the
Quality Rose and AA logos. The Quality Rose is the official mark of
the Enjoy England national tourist board and they assess
accommodation to the same criteria as the AA. Both are
national schemes - so you can trust the standards to be the same
anywhere in the UK.
All types of accommodation can be
quality accredited – from hotels to camping parks and hostels. The
number of stars awarded reflects the level of service and comfort.
Look out for Gold and Silver awards as an indication of extra
special accommodation. 2006 saw the start of the simplification of
the rating system. All accommodation will be rated using stars;
diamonds are being phased out.
As the new accommodation Quality
Assessment scheme is gradually introduced, you may see diamonds
and/or stars being used. The level of the two schemes is more or
less the same, though the star standards do generally have higher
expectations.
Bassetlaw District Council is unable

cause for complaint, please notify the proprietor immediately.
